Cameron High School Career & College Fair Held

Cameron High School recently held the 4th annual CHS College and Career Fair.

The fair is held once a year in the gymnasium. There were 38 vendors at the event. There were Military vendors, college vendors and career vendors. Different colleges such as West Liberty University, West Virginia University, Fairmont State University and Waynesburg University were at the fair.

According to Cameron High School Counselor Kelly Pettit, the Military recruiters were one of the most popular vendors. Some of the other popular vendors included businesses such as the Gas and Oil Industry and local trade unions.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the different colleges at the event. Some of the students were able to apply to a college of their choice as well.
