As per West Virginia Governor Jim Justice’s announcement on Tuesday, students of Marshall County Schools will not return to the classroom for in-person instruction for the 2019-2020 academic year. Remote learning will continue for all students through Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
“While this is not an ideal way to close the school year, we must focus on the safety and health of our students, faculty, staff and community,” said Marshall County Schools Superintendent Dr. Shelby Haines.
The school district will also continue to feed students for the remainder of the school year. The Marshall Mobile Food Bus will deliver meals to neighborhoods every Wednesday, as scheduled. A list of the 13 locations can be found on the Marshall County Schools on the main page of this website.
