Where to begin!!

First, thank you to those who are making this possible. I am so enjoying "reconnecting" with classmates.  My teaching career began in 1966. I taught second grade in Anne Arundel Co.,MD for one year and then went home to Moundsville due to my mother's illness. I taught in Marshall Co. schools until 1975 when I got married. We moved to Germantown, MD, and have lived here since then.My sister, Judith, and her husband live about 60 miles away so that has been good.

Bob is from Indiana, and we met in 1971. He has worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance since college and army time. His work has been with workman's compensation and managing offices for several years. His current office is in Columbia, MD which is a healthy daily drive.

We moved to Maryland in 1975, and I have been teaching in Montgomery Co. Public Schools since then - elementary and middle school. I currently teach middle school math to sixth graders and last year to seventh graders. Retirement is starting to become a thought but may continue for another year or two.The attached photo was chosen as we celebrated our 29th anniversay on Kauai. This photo was taken six weeks after Bob had a triple bypass and a pacemaker implanted. Each day has become special for us.
