Local elementary students were invited to audition for the John Marshall High School spring musical production of The Wizard of Oz.

The young actors will be filling roles of munchkins, Ozians, poppies and monkeys. The students rehearsed with Monarch Company every Saturday and after school.

Chloe Weekley commented, “I have had a lot of fun during rehearsals, and I love to be a part of something that will be really exciting for the community to come see.”

Glen Dale Elementary students attended a special matinee performance on Thursday to support their classmates.
