Moundsville Middle School hosted a field day for students from the school, McNinch Primary School and Central Elementary School who receive special education services.

More than 75 students participated in field events, games and crafts. Volunteers from Wheeling University, John Marshall High School’s Teen Teacher program and Moundsville Middle School students served as peer tutors for students during the events.

A tremendous amount of people made an appearance at the friendly competition to show support including Marshall County Schools Superintendent Shelby Haines, MCS Student Services Director Karen Klamut, MCS Special Programs Director Erin Cuffaro, MCS Career & Technical Education Director Bob Wilson, CeCe Irving, Dave Simmons and. Moundsville City Manager Rick Healey.
