Moundsville Middle School TSA Wins Big at State Tournament

Moundsville Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) students recently participated in a virtual awards ceremony for the state TSA tournament.

Moundsville TSA members competed in the annual state tournament on March 23 and 24, 2022, at Cedar Lakes, but had to wait until the beginning of April for the final results and the awards ceremony.

First-place winners Alina Holliday and Sophie Crumm for Technical Design and Alina Holliday and Heidi Williams for Structural Engineering will move on to the national competition in Texas.

Kaelyn Wyatt won 1st place for the state logo design. Other noted winners from the Moundsville Middle School TSA include 3rd place in Digital Photography – Kaelyn Wyatt; 3rd place in Creed – Emilyn Richards; 3rd place in Coding – Heidi Williams and Sophie Crumm; 2nd place in Coding Cam Terry & Madi Moore; 3rd place in Mechanical Engineering – Bryant Morgan, Sarah Hill and Madi Moore.
